I have always felt like I do not belong here

I dream of singing melodies with the angels in the sky

Humans travel through mountains

swim through rough tides

to find a place where they belong here on earth

i don’t know where to begin in a universe so wide

with endless possibilities that

I worry I might die

than to struggle to find a purpose of my own

I am homesick for a heaven

I haven’t known

where I am madly in love with the scent of nature

and someone to hold when I am away

from my body
